The U.S. bishops’ Subcommittee on Hispanic Affairs conducted a survey of dioceses and archdioceses in the country’s 14 episcopal regions and released its results Aug. 21.
Each year, the Basilica and National Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon in North Jackson hosts a pilgrimage around the Feast of the Assumption. On Tuesday, August 13, Bishop David Bonnar celebrated Mass during the pilgrimage, which was themed “The Mother of God, A Gift to Us” this year.
