Welcome, New Employees!
The Diocese of Youngstown has welcomed several new employees this fall, including three new principals—David Fischer (started October 6 at St. Paul School in Salem), Andrew Richards (started in August at St. Paul School in North Canton) and Kevin Irvine (started in August at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Louisville). The diocese also welcomed Zachary “Zak” Diroll as the new director of Facilities and Maintenance at central offices. Please keep all new employees in your prayers as they settle into their new roles within the diocese.

Retirement Fund for Religious
Catholic sisters, brothers and religious order priests—collectively known as women and men religious—have selflessly served for decades without significant financial compensation. However, due to escalating health-care costs, numerous U.S. religious communities face a substantial gap between their elderly members’ needs and the financial resources available for their care. Many religious orders currently experience insufficient retirement savings. To give to the Retirement Fund for Religious (RFR), you can either respond to the second collection on the weekend of November 22 & 23 or visit www.doy.org/vowed-religious/ to make a gift online.
