
Sister Janice Kusick ministers in adult faith formation for the parishes of St. Angela Merici in Youngstown and St. Rose in Girard. Previously known as Sister Mary Martin, Sister Janice served in a number of roles as an educator, both in parishes and diocesan schools. These include many years as director of religious education for St. Catherine Parish in Lake Milton and St. James (now Our Lady of the Lakes Parish) in North Jackson, and St. Charles (now St. Catherine of Siena Parish) in Boardman.
Sister Janice also has ministered with Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in East Palestine, as a principal for Holy Name School in Youngstown, and as a teacher at SS. Cyril & Methodius school in Youngstown, St. John School in Campbell and St. Rose School in Girard.
Sister Janice earned a master’s degree in administrative education from Seton Hall University in New Jersey and a baccalaureate in education from YSU. She holds additional professional certifications.
