Sister René Parman, formerly Sister Marie René and the former Faye Parman, graduated from Lourdes Academy, Cleveland, in 1938.

Sister Susanne Gill, the former Barbara “Bobbie” Gill, entered the Humility of Mary Community in 1949 from St. Paul Parish in North Canton. She attended St. Paul’s Elementary School, North Canton High School (presently Hoover High School), St. John College in Cleveland, for her BSE and Purdue University in Indiana for her MSE.

Sister Teresina Rosa was born in Italy, in a town east of Naples, and entered the community of the Oblate Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in 1949. She took her first vows three years later and then went to Rome to continue her studies, before she was asked to join the community here in Youngstown in 1955.

Sister Catherine Cassidy entered the Humility of Mary Community in 1953 from St. Charles Borromeo Parish in Parma, and professed her perpetual vows in 1969.

Sister Jane Pank, formerly Sister Francis Xavier, entered the Humility of Mary Community from St. Clement Parish, Lakewood, Ohio,

Sister Margaret Burgess, formerly Sister Monica, entered the Humility of Mary community in 1954 from St. Patrick Parish in Kent.

Sister Linda Valasik (Sister Mary Stephanie) graduated from Lourdes Academy, Cleveland, Ohio in 1958.
