Father Raymond Paul- 62nd Jubilee

August 1, 2024

Father Raymond Paul, a retired priest, was ordained a priest for the Conventual Franciscans on March 3, 1962, by Archbishop Leo Binz, in St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul, Minnesota, but has ministered in the Youngstown Diocese since 1970.

Sister Margaret Mary Siegfried, who celebrated her 80th jubilee this year, presented the gifts at the Jubilarian Mass.

Celebrating Our Vowed Religious

This year marks jubilees for 12 vowed religious of the Diocese of Youngstown. They were honored at a Lenten Mass celebrated by Bishop David J. Bonnar at the Basilica of St. John the Baptist in Canton on March 25.

Father Bernard Gaeta- 50th Jubilee

Originally from Altoona, Pennsylvania, Father Gaeta served as associate pastor at parishes in Minneapolis and Altoona, before being incardinated into the Diocese of Youngstown in May 1988.

Monsignor Lewis Gaetano- 50th Jubilee

September 1, 2023

Monsignor Lewis Gaetano was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Steubenville on May 18, 1973. Originally from Canton, Monsignor Gaetano has served many roles in his half-century as a priest, including pastor, missionary and teacher.

Father Gregory Fedor- 40th Jubilee

September 1, 2023

Father Gregory Fedor was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Youngstown on June 18, 1983. Originally from Conneaut, Ohio, Father Fedor has served for the past 14 years as the pastor of St. Joseph Parish in Austintown, and he also became the pastor at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Austintown in 2021.
