Rite of Election 2025

In the Diocese of Youngstown, the Rite of Election of Catechumens and the Call to Continuing Conversion of Candidates was on the First Sunday of Lent, March 9, at 2 p.m. at St. Columba Cathedral. The Rite of Election is part of the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA), and the ceremony is celebrated with candidates, catechumens, their sponsors, family members and pastoral leaders.
