
Monsignor David Rhodes – 60 Years
Monsignor Rhodes was ordained to the priesthood by Bishop James Malone at St. Columba Cathedral on May 29, 1965.

He was ordained August 14, 1965, by Bishop James Malone in St. Brendan (now St. Mary Magdalene) Parish in Youngstown.

Father Lang was ordained on June 7, 1975, by Bishop Malone at St. Columba Cathedral.

He was ordained at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on May 3, 1975, by Bishop James Hogan.

Today, Father Lavelle serves as the vicar for missionary discipleship for the Diocese of Youngstown, as well as the director of diocesan communications, the diocesan director of development and stewardship and the curator of the patrimony. He is also pastor at St. Michael Parish in Canfield.

Sister Mary Janeta Stamper entered the Sisters of Notre Dame Community from St. James (now St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish) in Warren.

Sister Norma Raupple is the director of the Ursuline Sisters of Youngstown’s young adult outreach and associate programs.

In the Diocese of Youngstown, Sister Maryann Weber (Sister Mary Chaminade), has served in Hispanic Ministry at St. Paul Parish in Salem, as well as an instructor at Kent State University (Salem Campus) and Eastern Gateway Community College in Salem

In the Diocese of Youngstown, Sister Mary Elizabeth Wood (Sister Mary Jesslyn) served as a teacher at St. Michael School in Canton.

In the Diocese of Youngstown, Sister Mary Patricia Sylvester (Sister Mary Patresa), served as a primary school teacher at SS. Cyril and Methodius School in Warren.
