In the Diocese of Youngstown, Sister Mary Patricia Sylvester (Sister Mary Patresa), served as a primary school teacher at SS. Cyril and Methodius School in Warren. After almost 20 years teaching children in grades 1 and 2, Sister earned certification to minister as a Director of Religious Education and a Pastoral Associate. She is currently serving in the healing and bereavement ministry in the Cleveland diocese.
