Headshot of Sister Kathleen

Sister Kathleen Steiner, formerly Sister Diane, entered the Humility of Mary community from St. Clement in Navarre. She holds a certificate in Church Music and Liturgy from St. Joseph College in Rensselaer, Indiana. Being a Humility of Mary Sister has brought Sister Kathleen many experiences, challenges and blessings far beyond what she could have ever imagined.

She spent her early years in ministry at Villa Maria Convent, serving as sacristan and as director of food service. Sister Kathleen served for 35 years in parish ministry as parish secretary at both St. Mary in Warren, and St. Andrew Parish in Sheffield, with her most recent posting as administrative assistant at St. Mary in Warren, from which she retired in 2018. She has also served as office secretary at St. Joseph Riverside Hospital in Warren; secretary at Emmanuel Community Care Center in Girard; and Director of Purchasing at Villa Maria Community Center in Villa Maria. Sister Kathleen currently serves with her sisters in the Humility of Mary Ministry of Prayer.
