Canton Central Catholic seniors earn highest scores on local American Legion test and essay

Central Catholic High School seniors Georgia Bentzel and Ryan Parlin scored the highest grades on the Americanism and Government test given by the American Legion Post 221 in Massillon.

Georgia and Ryan’s essays will move on to the next level of the contest and will be sent to the 10th District commander. Awards were presented recently by David Oates, Central Catholic principal.

According to the American Legion, the test is open to students in grades 10-12, who answer multiple choice questions and complete an essay.
