In honor of the Jubilee of Hope, the Diocese of Youngstown is re-issuing “The March of the Eucharist” as the August issue of The Catholic Echo Magazine.

In honor of the Jubilee of Hope, the Diocese of Youngstown is re-issuing “The March of the Eucharist” as the August issue of The Catholic Echo Magazine.

The original 1951 March of the Eucharist book was written by the Diocese of Youngstown’s first bishop, James McFadden, to mark the 1950 jubilee year. The book tells the histories of each of the parishes that existed in the diocese at that time, featuring beautiful illustrations of the church buildings, ornate scroll work and a gilded, leather-bound cover.

Bishop Bonnar reflects on Christ was brought to the six counties of the diocese of Youngstown.

The diocese’s six Catholic High schools serve thousands of students each school year.
