The Hispanic community of the Diocese of Youngstown met with Bishop David Bonnar for the Third Annual Hispanic Ministry Summit at the Immaculate Conception Church in Ravenna on March 22.
La comunidad hispana de la Diócesis de Youngstown se reunió con el Obispo David Bonnar para la Tercera Cumbre Anual del Ministerio Hispano en la Iglesia de la Inmaculada Concepción en Ravena el 22 de marzo.
Attending the summit were members of the Hispanic Catholic community from the four parishes of the diocese that have Mass in Spanish. The summit was held on March 9, 2024, at St. Michael Parish in Canfield.
Spanish-language composer Santiago Fernandez presented a liturgical music workshop at St. Michael the Archangel Parish in Canton on December 2.
A large group of local students who are members of Ursuline High school’s SOS Students of Stewardship club travelled to Puerto Rico, to participate in a mission trip.
