Sister Mary Janeta Stamper entered the Sisters of Notre Dame Community from St. James (now St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish) in Warren. In the Diocese of Youngstown, she served as a teacher at St. Joseph School in Randolph and assistant principal at St. Mary School in Warren. Sister served as principal in three schools in the Cleveland diocese. She assisted women and children through the Women’s Hope Cooperative and Boys Hope. Sister’s creativity continued to be shared as coordinator of the Sisters of Notre Dame Crafts and Boutique. She currently lives at the SND Center in Chardon.
