Hospice of the Valley Volunteer Training Class

Hospice of the Valley Seeks New Volunteers. Hospice of the Valley serving the tri-county area has an upcoming new volunteer training class, Thursday, May 9, and May 16, 8:30 – 4:00, both dates are required. The class will be held at Hospice of the Valley’s Girard office at 979 Tibbetts Wick Rd, in Girard, 44420.

The Hospice of the Valley volunteer is part of the professional team, who provide compassionate, and loving care to the patient, and families in end-of-life care. The volunteers serve in many capacities, including weekly visits to patients. Additional opportunities include clerical, receptionist, inpatient support to patient, family, and clinical staff at the Hospice House. Hospice of the Valley also seek volunteers who are veterans for our veteran-to-veteran programs, bilingual, musical, pet therapy teams and creative individuals to serve specific patient needs.
