61st Annual Assumption Pilgrimage
The Basilica & National Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon will hold their 61st Annual Assumption Pilgrimage at 2759 N. Lipkey Rd., North Jackson, Ohio. Thursday thru Saturday of the Pilgrimage, the Shrine opens at 9:00 AM & the Gift Shop opens at 10:00 AM. On Thursday, August 13th, there will be a Roman Rite Liturgy with Bishop David Bonnar as Celebrant at 7:00 PM. On Friday, August 14th, there will be Children’s Activities from 1-5:30 PM & Byzantine Divine Liturgy with Bishop Robert M. Pipta as Celebrant at 7:00 PM. On Saturday, August 15th, the 61st Annual Feast of the Assumption, there will be a Maronite Divine Liturgy with annointing of the sick at 10:00 AM & Maronite Pontifical Liturgy at 7:00 PM, both with Bishop Gregory Mansour and Bishop Elias Zaidan as Celebrants. Also on Saturday, there will be two Spiritual Conferences throughout the day. On Sunday, August 16th the Celebration of the Feast of St. Rocco, Maronite Divine Liturgy with Chorbishop Anthony Spinosa as Celebrant at 10:00 AM & an Organ Recital with Professor Mitchell Miller at 4:00 PM.
