In the Diocese of Youngstown, Sister Geraldine Marie Tengler (Sister Mary Bernerd), taught at St. Michael School in Canton. Sister Geraldine Marie also served as principal and teacher at schools in the Cleveland diocese. She ministered as pastoral associate and parish life coordinator at St. Francis Parish in downtown Cleveland.
Currently, Sister volunteers at University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center and assists in the Chardon Sisters of Notre Dame Archives.
