Good Friday Collection for the Holy Land
Pope Francis has asked our parish to support the Pontifical Good Friday Collection, which helps Christians in the Holy Land. Your support helps the church minister in parishes, provide Catholic schools, offer religious education, and undertake social and charitable works. The Pontifical Good Friday Collection also helps to preserve the sacred shrines.
Most Christians in the Holy Land depend on pilgrimages to work. They rely heavily on this Pontifical Good Friday Collection to meet the basic needs of the People of God still living in this Land where the Church was born.
When you contribute to the Pontifical Good Friday Collection, you become an instrument of peace and join with Catholics around the world in solidarity with the Church in the Holy Land.
