The Eleventh Annual Faith & Family Festival of the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown will take place on Sunday, September 25, 2022 on the West Quad of Walsh University’s Campus, 2020 E. Maple St., North Canton. The day will start at 11:00 a.m. with Mass with the Most Reverend David J. Bonnar, Bishop of Youngstown, and conclude at 5:00 p.m. with a Eucharistic procession.

The day will feature Fr. Leo Patalinghug of Plating Grace, affectionately known as the “cooking priest.” In his first presentation, Fr. Leo will do a cooking demonstration while he addresses “Nourishing Faith around the Table (or at the Bar).” The topic of Fr. Leo’s second presentation will be “How to Get to Heaven & Bring Others with You,” followed by Questions & Answers.

Musical acts will include Vox Audio, Canton’s a cappella singing sensation, and Echo Valley, an entertaining bluegrass band consisting of six siblings. Former TV weatherman and now seminarian, Craig Ziobert, will serve as emcee throughout the day. In addition, there will be a wide variety of activities for kids, students and families, such as games, a prayer tent, dozens of vendors and exhibitors, confessions, crafts, Eucharistic adoration and food.

Admission is free but donations will be accepted. The Faith and Family Festival promises to be the largest gathering of Catholic families in the Diocese of Youngstown. The event is sponsored by the Diocesan Office of Pro-Life, Marriage and Family Life in partnership with Walsh University, with the help of many donors and corporate sponsors.
