In order to share the Good News of the Gospel and the good news around our diocese, we must remain mindful of our potential to influence love, positivity and goodness. To assist with that, prior to posting to social media, particularly for our Catholic parishes, schools and agency platforms, be sure to review these questions:
- Will posting this photo, text, article, video, etc. further the goals of our parish/school/office/agency/organization?
- Will the posting be perceived in the spirit in which it is intended, or might other circumstances impact the perception of the audience/digital community?
- If a post does receive negative responses, will you be prepared to address them with Christian charity?
