DESCRIPTION:The Spiritual Book Club hosted by the Ursuline Center is welcoming new members to its next series of discussions, starting Sept. 11, 2023. The group ordinarily meets 1-2:30 p.m. the first Monday of each month at the Ursuline Center, 4280 Shields Road, Canfield. Due to the Labor Day holiday, the first gathering has been scheduled for a week later.\nThe book to be discussed will be “Radical Spirit: 12 Ways to Live a Free and Authentic Life,” by Benedictine Sister Joan Chittister. For further information or to join the book club, contact Barbara Spencer, facilitator, at 330-503-4756. Each person is responsible for obtaining their copy of the book and is asked to read the Introduction and Chapter 1 before attending the Sept. 11 session. The book can be found on Amazon or thriftbooks.com or purchased through local booksellers.\n
